Nestled in the wide open stillness of the high desert, we offer a sacred pause, a time to reconnect with yourself, the land, and the deep wisdom that arises when women gather. Surrounded by sun soaked mesas, whispering junipers, and expansive skies, we move through ritual, rest, and soul tending practices that awaken the sacred within and honor the rhythms that guide us home.

Tending Grief Refuge: The Experience
We will gather in a hidden sanctuary, held in simple, communal living with shared bathrooms, this is an intentional return to togetherness. Sacred Wells Collective and Dar al Islam have woven their lineages and care together to create a refuge devoted to cultural healing, remembrance, and grief held in community.
This is an invitation into the deeper waters of the well. You will encounter the familiar magic of SWC; sacred ritual, belly laughter, magicks and beauty, but here we listen more closely to the grief we carry, both personal and ancestral. Grief will be welcomed as teacher, a threshold, a sacred language of love. Evenings will glow with firelight as we gather to dance, share stories, and make magick in the high desert, beneath a blanket of stars.
The land itself will be part of the grief tending. We will walk the luminous paths of Plaza Blanca, and the red rocks of Ghost Ranch, letting awe soften the body and restore our sense of belonging.
As always, nourishment will be prepared with devotion, honoring food as medicine for both body and soul.
This is a refuge for those ready to be witnessed, held, and gently transformed together.
Proof of travel insurance and medical insurance is required.
Per person: $2200 all inclusive aside from travel and transportation to and from the event.
